My 5 point plan to restore Gator football (2024)

Me and my team have been working really hard on this plan, and have been moving hard behind the scenes to make them happen. We are starting to see the fruits of our labor pay off but need all your help to further our agenda. I look forward to sharing soon how we are already seeing changes, but until then please read below.

1. Unsubscribe from everyone BUT 247: Every other message board has reporters that are more willing to sunshine pump and present fake news. How many times has a site ruined a kids commitment due to wanting to be the first to drop a rumor or projection? Not 247 (for the most part). Now why would this be important? We need to dry up these ‘fake news’ reporters money so they are forced to present actual facts and information that does not ruin a recruits moment. This will also help to build trust with the football staff and our reporters so they can work with the staff to influence kids decision and timelines.

2. Stop buying tickets to ANY home games for ALL sports: This one may hurt most of you pumpers and tailgaters, but this is necessary for many reasons. The biggest would be to dry up money going into the UAA until total buy in happens for our football program. Football is the biggest money maker for our UAA and it has to start with emptying The Swamp starting in September. Once we send a message with our money, we can bring to dictate the message about the football program being stagnant and the need for buy in from the top down. Now, we cannot just stop at football though. Buying tickets to all home games through all sports will show how serious we are about this and will badly hit the UAAs bank account. Graham just dropped an article about our athletic department has the 8th highest income in the country, but for what? To watch Billy Deez and Billy Nutz whiff consistently on top targets? This fixes that. Once their money is draining they will understand change is needed.

3. Contact the UAA and voice your frustration: The booster phone number is (352)-375-4683 and it is public for a reason. Call and voice your frustration and demand action towards our football team and NIL situation. Maybe you can even get through to some big Polk county boosters. If this is the case, I would recommend informing CAW and getting him involved but if you feel you can handle this, then go ahead. The most important thing is not being silent and not standing idle taking this beating the UAA is giving us right now. We need to infuse all of our money into NIL and that requires cutting sports that waste our resources and money.

4. Contact UFs President, his cabinet and the Board of Trustees: The leadership of the university needs to know Swamp247 will not sit back and watch our beloved program turn into waste. We need to put a focus back on partying and loosen up requirements for admissions. We need to demand we work our way out of the Top 5 nationally ranked public institutions to settling maybe top 50ish? What is more important in college, getting a good education or celebrating being free and able to make your own decisions (good or bad)? Once we can loosen up restrictions, we can recruit more of the speed and athleticism that Florida has to offer without worrying if their GPA is above 3.5. 5. Never settle for silence: Some of you may be comfortable being silent on these issues, but we cannot be. Your voice has to be heard. Our program cannot change if we are ok with the status quo. I have been threatened, mocked, and banned in some instances for my opinion. Why do I keep going though? Because I want our team to WIN and WIN bigly! Nothing has ever changed in this world from men and women being silent and conforming to situations that are not right. We are being robbed and degraded and most of you take it with no second through. Stand up for your team and the future of it.
